ABOUT

 

Sophia was born and raised outside of Washington, DC where she developed a love of fine art, media and politics. She cultivated her interests as a U.S. Capitol intern and White House Digital Strategy intern under the Obama Administration.

Upon moving to Los Angeles, she was given the opportunity to study under Shane Hurlbut, A.S.C. and apply what she learned in order to be an effective and passionate member of both camera and production departments.

As a freelance Producer, Sophia excels in the fast-paced and challenging environments of commercial production and indie filmmaking. She strives to deliver an exemplary product to clients regardless of budget or logistical challenges while creating an empowering and inclusive on-set experience for all crewmembers.

 

Sophia is a graduate of the BFA Film Production program of Emerson College and currently resides in Los Angeles, though she enjoys working on projects both domestically and overseas.
